Video Production

Nowadays, making movies in film is rapidly shifting towards digital. "Video, in digital or analog form, is a collation of still images presented to the viewer so fast they give the illusion of motion". The term videography or video production refers to the art of telling a story through careful presentation of video. video productionAchieving this "art", one must plan, shoot, edit, and master all the video-work digitally, with the use of video technology and non-linear editing software available.

Capturing videos for commercial and high-end work, one must have at least a 3CCD video camera for quality expectations. When the footage is captured, it consists of "programmes" (sometimes referred to as "sequences"), which is then divided into "scenes." A single scene is composed of one or more camera "shots". All the shots, scenes, and sequences are put together to make a final product using an editing system. Though, for the digital age, non-linear editing (using computers with video editing software) is mostly used.
  • Most of the popular editing software for commercial use is as follows:
  • Adobe Premiere
  • Apple Final Cut Pro or Express
  • Autodesk Discreet
  • Avid Xpress Pro
With today's technology, visual media has rocketed to its popularity.
Almost everyone has heard of Youtube (most people even have a Youtube account), where most of these video works end up streaming. DVD authoring, DVD duplication and DVD replications are a few other ways of distributing videos to the end user.

At Disc2day, professional videographers and editors are ready to tackle everyone's video and editing needs from production to video conversion to the DVD duplication or replication.
